We've been talking about prayer lately, and I wanted to share a few simple, practical ways to make prayer a regular part of your day. Last week’s email included some buttons that lead to a page full of prayer resources, and I thought I’d walk you through what’s there.

Pray the Office
If you’d like to pray at any time of day, this link adjusts automatically—Morning Prayer in the morning, Noonday Prayer at noon, Evening Prayer in the evening, and Compline at night. Each service includes all the readings and psalms you need, ready to go.
Daily Devotions for Individuals and Families
At my house, we use these shorter devotions over breakfast. They’re simple, beautiful ways to begin or end your day in prayer and Scripture.
Daily Readings
If you want to read the appointed Scripture for the day, this section includes a psalm, an Old Testament reading, a New Testament reading, and a Gospel—plus the collect of the day. It’s a great way to stay connected with the rhythm of prayer shared across the whole Church.
Forward Day by Day
A brief daily devotion that offers reflection and encouragement for living out your faith.
Other Resources
You’ll also find a full list of prayers and thanksgivings from the Book of Common Prayer, and you can even create your own prayer list to return to daily.
Friends, our call as the Church is to become and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. That begins with prayer—daily as individuals, together in worship, and week by week at the Eucharist. This is how we’re formed into Christ’s likeness and sent into the world to share his life-giving work.
If you have any questions about these prayer tools or how to get started, please reach out. I’d be glad to help.
See you Sunday.
