Going into an unfamiliar place around unfamiliar people can be challenging for anyone, but is especially challenging for people with Sensory Processing Difficulties (SPDs). This sensory map is designed to help you prepare for your visit by providing information about what to expect in different areas of our building.
If you have any questions or specific needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out. This is a place where you can belong.
The narthex is the entryway. It is also where people get together to connect before and after worship services.
The nave is our worship space.
The education wing is where we hold formation classes for children, youth, and adults. It is also the location of our nursery.
The parish hall is where we gather for meals and parish-wide meetings. We usually have one of our adult formation classes there as well.
The parlor is furnished like a living room. It is occasionally used for meetings, but most of the time it is a space that is quieter and less busy than the narthex.
