Amal Marks

I moved to Waco by way of Málaga, Spain in the summer of 2011, and have loved growing with the city ever since. Being raised in a missionary family that served the Islamic community of North Africa has given me a zeal and passion to be of service to the Lord's people locally and throughout the nations. I love demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ to all of God's creation. While I am a newcomer to Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, I am not a stranger to Waco -  a city I proudly call home. I am an avid, amateur chess player and enjoy exploring local businesses and eateries in Central Texas. When I am not at church, you can find me in my kitchen coming up with new recipes or exploring the town with my miniature Australian Shepherd named Santiago.
